Netsu
Mandarin Oriental - Jumeirah
This Michelin restaurant is definitely on my TOP restaurants in Dubai although 2022 and 2023 experiences are slightly different, read until the end.
The food is just over the chart, it's incredible. The mixture of flavors, from raw fish to a grilled steak, everything is cooked perfectly. Open kitchen where you can be mesmerized by the chefs techniques and food preparation. Netsu, has two levels in the restaurant and in this visit we sat on the ground floor, next to the entrance and had after drinks on the top floor. Service always very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu, food preferences and guidance. The ambience, is very mystic, dark and romantic what created a great atmosphere with our friends we went with. Great laughs, great food, great company... what else we could ask for?
In the middle of great moment, we had some despaired eye-sights of a group sat next to us that had children! Right, 11pm children, ready to go to sleep, around 1 or 2 years old , in a licensed restaurant and the group expect us to be quite or not laugh so loud? hmm... its a fine-dining restaurant, we are having the same full experience, so definitely we would like to live the best out of it too :)
So, in all honesty this was the only down side of the whole experience.
In a nut-shell, I continue to love the food however in 2023 are the prices got too expensive. AED1800 for 2 pax its a rip off, in comparison with AED1300 in 2022 almost for the same food and dishes.

Food
Lobster temaki Hand Roll & Spicy tuna maki roll - it's soooo good.
Starter - wagyu tartare - a must try.
As sides - Aubergine & Potato warayaki its sooo delicious.
Tiger pranws tempura, gyozas, tuna ceviche that was not even in the menu and they prepared it for us! :)
Truffle Wagyu sando - OMG, it's unreal!! I save myself all the time for this steak sandwich, it's amazing!
Save yourself for the Japanese Steak Ribeye, for meat lovers it's very good.
Dessert - Caramel popcorn & Chocolate fondant - presentation is stunning and the flavors were definitely there, but if you know me I'm not a massive desserts fan, so when it comes to sweetness I will leave it to you to choose :)
Note: Will definitely need to visit this restaurant during the day.
